To proclaim the gospel to all people, lead the church in accomplishing its mission, and to care for the members and the community while providing an atmosphere of unity and love. To serve the Pastor and the congregation as consecrated servants of the Lord in promoting the vision of the church, the gospel and providing an atmosphere of unity and love. Generally appointed.

Ministering to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of the church family and community.  We offer telephone prayers for the sick, shut-ins, handicapped, bereaved, and others.  To assist the Pastor and Deacons in the ordinance services and the Deacon’s Family plan, to study God’s Word by regularly attending Prayer Service, Bible Study, Sunday, School, and other church services.  

To serve Zion Baptist Church as facilitator of the mission of the Church by providing a desirable environment for worship, studying God’s Word, serving humanity, providing a desirable environment for worship, studying God’s Word, serving humanity, and conducting the business of the Church. To explore other revenue streams that will and conducting the business of the Church. We’re a group of women recasting the vision for Zion, so that we can spiritually and joyfully provide hospitality and enhance the awareness of life issues for Zion’s members and community.

The Men of Zion is an organized body of Christian men whose express purpose is to lead, guide, and cultivate men to be disciples for Christ. Together, we spiritually and joyfully provide hospitality and enhance the awareness of life issues for Zion’s members and community.

Ready to utilize your gifts and talents? The ones that are fighting to get out? Here’s your opportunity. The mission of the ARTS Ministry mirrors the mission of the church. The word of God can be preached and taught with the Gospel of Jesus Christ being heard through musical choirs, dance and theater. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit and God worketh in all.

To serve the congregation by creating a calm, orderly and welcoming worship environment, guiding members and guests with kindness.

We are a ministry creating new opportunities that encourage positive engagement for various church activities. We aim to inform, inspire and promote. The spiritual and educational growth of the church family.

Our purpose is to nurture the faith and development of children by creating a Christ centered foundation for their loves. We lead children to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to honor God as growing disciples and to focus on the spiritual development of our youth. Our youth are encouraged to participate as wholehearted worshippers, as faithful witnesses, as caring community members with Christ-like characteristics, and as equipped servants.  The ultimate goal is for teens to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and spread the message to other young people.                        

With the Core Values of Zion Baptist Church as our guiding principles, the Young Adult Ministry seeks to ENGAGE the young adult population (ages 18-40) in all areas of life. This involves POSITIVELY influencing the personal, spiritual, financial, emotional, educational, and health needs of young adults in this community and beyond. We accomplish this by creating a WELCOMING atmosphere which serves as strength for this generation and fosters a spirit of growth. It is the ultimate goal of the ministry to EMPOWER young adults to live Christ centered lives and to serve as leaders bearing a Christian witness amongst their cohort.  

Our mission is to Lend a Helping Hand in our church and community.  The following are some of our Outreach Ministries we support: PARC PLACE, (Homeless Families). HER Shelter, Operation Santa Claus, and other activities.  

Our ministry will provide spiritual guidance that will empower families to live and serve more abundantly.  Services that will be offered are drug awareness, financial obstacles, and educational tips that might be helpful for married couples.    

We seek to fulfill God’s calling through worship, programs of Christian Education, and nurture proclamation of the Gospel by word, deed, and ministry to human needs in the name of Christ.                                                                          

The goal of this ministry is to assist in food preparation and other services for church functions and to feed God’s people. Duties include hosting church fellowship events to foster connection and belonging. (ex. Church wide meals, events, etc.)

The mission of Zion Baptist Church’s Marketing and Public Relations ministry is to invite and connect the congregation, the community and the world with information on our church, our worship experiences, ministry activities. We provide teaching and training moments through literature and electronic social media vehicles, in order for non-believers to make a spiritual decision about their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.  

To provide quality audio and video services to enhance Zion’s worship experience. Allow for the preservation of Zion’s worship services through the technology of audio/visual media. Preservation of worship services will enhance the transferring of historical records through the years, thus creating a lasting vocal and pictorial view for generations to see Zion congregations and activities, past and present.                                                                                      

The Drop-In Ministry provides physical and spiritual nourishment, to our homeless members of the community by serving breakfast three times a week; and through sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and with the goals of empowering those to be better stewards of their time, talents and resources.
